For several years now The Climbing Place, Fayetteville's premier indoor rock climbing gym, has extended an invitation to soldiers on Fort Bragg to conduct physical training as a variation of "the dirty dozen". This has been a very successful program. It not only allows a change of pace but exposes training for the challenges of today's Army.

This program has been designed for units from squad size to company size, during normal military PT hours. All participants will receive full instruction which includes basic knots, proper donning of the climbing harness, proper use of HMS carabiner and belay device, climbing commands, practice climbs, announced and unannounced practice falls. Upon completion of training participants will receive a belay card certifying that they have been through the training. This program offers a tremendous training to the military, each soldier saves up to $11.00 on their first visit. Without question, this is our most popular military unit program.
If another time is desired besides the PT hours, we can accomodate at the group rates.
